- Log into Google and open the Google Maps APP. Click on the bottom left square that says “Google Earth”
- Type Boliver Peninsula into the search box.
- You may need to zoom in or out to see the features necessary to answer the following questions
- Answer the following questions in your journal:
I. Over time, how could Goat Island and Galveston Island be reshaped by weathering?
II. What would have to be done for business to continue as usual in Texas City and Seabrook?
III. Compare the effects of weathering on Galveston Bay to Galveston Island (Jamaica Beach).
IV. Type in Choctawhatchee Bay in the search box. How might access to Choctawatchee Bay from the Gulf of Mexico be impacted by weathering and erosion?

1. Describe the location and explain the features. Is it a desert?, Is there vegetation, is there a river or ocean?
2. How might these features be reshaped in the future? What will reshape this area? (ocean waves, wind if a dry area, river water, or ice wedging) REMEMBER: Bays do not have waves!!!
